The idea that you have as your Business may already be in use or still in planning but the move from idea to Online will need some wrapping. There are a few programs that are on the Internet that provide quick and easy wrapping solutions to an Online Business. Now these three programs are PayDotCom, BlogSpot and WordPress and even though some may say they are outdated you can learn what little I did when I tried them out. I will also mention briefly some of the newer programs at the end of the article.
PayDotCom: I encountered this program soon after I opened my PayPal account to have my online funds. What this program provides is a financial wrapper for your Business Idea as it links a business with PayPal to allow easy payments online using a credit card or the PayPal System.
BlogSpot: This was my first blog spot, no pun intended. It was linked to Gmail and has a host of widgets that made the blogging experience look more professional, but some may be argued that their templates are second rate to WordPress.
WordPress: WordPress has been my latest wrapper for a Blog Idea, taking a niche or business idea and writing updates can enhance your business look even if you use one of their impressive templates.
The only drawback some experts will tell this approach of using these free programs is that investors and prospective buyers want to see a really good idea expressed on its own terms using a really catchy domain name and not a free host such as the above three. The good you take away from using the functionality and aesthetics of these programs is valuable experience and a space to use until you are able to invest in your own domain.
So simply using the tools on these programs and a Gmail Email account for contact purposes will enhance your Business Idea, but there is one step better that I recently found. Although a free host, the principle of choosing an appropriate (simple, short but informative) business name for your URL (website name) still applies.
