Earn Money Online

Working at Home really is easy and is the main reason everyone from the Work/Stay-At-Home parent to the experienced Guru is on the Internet. People are there because it has many advantages over a regular 9 to 5 job:

• You are your own Boss
• You set your own Hours
• You set your own operating terms and pace
• No huge overheads
• No staff to pay
• In some cases no excessive paper work

As we outline in our signature post “Earning Money Online is easy“! Be that as it may and with all the pluses there are the obvious pitfalls:

• Advertising can be tedious and expensive 
• Without proper advertising your Business may loose its appeal to you and others
• Many Products online can be unoriginal including yours

So you see if you can overcome the overwhelming vastness of the Internet and… do not give up because it seems as such a daunting task and… come up with an original idea (which is your enterprise) and… be a faithful steward of that enterprise you are back on track to a successful business online with ease.

As you may know PPA is held at the fundamentals of this guide. It is the way that any successful business entrepreneur online can “steadily plod” away at making a good start to their business. That what is meant by being faithful. You cannot give up because it seems as if you have posted a thousand ad copies (another form of PPA as well as Advertising) and nothing seems to have happened! You got keep doing what you know you have to do and stick at it and something will break. The cure for this syndrome of pointless ad-posting is to simply monitor your campaigns. The aspect of monitor is built in to any good affiliate program. A number of programs that have monitoring come to mind that I have heard of or use:

The list can go on and on and even in some of the simplest affiliate programs that you are in you will see this aspect of monitoring (Link Tracking and Link Cloaking). So stop worrying about your campaigns and just be faithful, monitor them and adjust them. That is the key to monitoring the ability to add some analysis to how and where you place your ads. Now of course this guide is catering to those who want to start completely without having to spend a penny. And in PPA-Typed Advertising many of these services may be offered only if you upgrade or pay money for a particular service. If you pay for your advertising you will want to see your money spent wisely, otherwise you will want to see your time put to good use. There is good monitoring hubs that are available and apply to PPA Advertising (which is equivalent to Free Advertising) that help you monitor and analyze your campaigns: Google Analytics works well with any free blog or program you are promoting as well as the popular Google Adsense. Bravenet is also a good hub for monitoring and maintaining a good online business enterprise.

It is useful at this point of the article to point a couple of words that have been recently recurring. It may be sufficient to refer to their meanings in a dictionary but I will define them here for clarity:

Affiliate (Program, Networking): Any type of program or group of programs and/or individuals aslo known as contacts that will help further the progress of your business entity. This is the main stay of any online enterprise that has a well-defined product, it also has to propagate itself not only through advertising (Paid or PPA) but it depends on also developing a system that garners a network of businesses or contacts that will be part of your enterprise for return of credit or payment known as commission. Most Affiliate Systems are automated into the business and set up all of the necessary aspects. However all this automation sometimes comes at a price and some Affiliate Programs focus on selling the system as well as the customer being in the system. The Paid Affiliate Marketing System is typically done on different levels and is high percentage of the time referred to as Multi-Level Marketing or MLM. Most PPA programs are Affiliate Programs / Networks! But some are not including but not limited to Surveys and Get-Paid-To (GPT: Paid-to-Survey [internal to a PPA program that is different to stand-alone online, telephone and mailed-in surveys] Paid-to-Shop, Paid-to-Consume [drive, use a product etc.] and Paid-to-Post [Paid Blogging and Forum Posting]). But at some point the recruiting of anyone to listen, look or just know about a product / enterprise can be seen as networking or Network Marketing. A critical part of this type of marketing is being part of an Online Community which include Forums and Social Communities.

Campaigns: A carefully planned promotion of a product or entity. This is very clear in its natural form of what the word means but more than often in the online world refers advertising and marketing. The latter two words qualify your campaigns to be an effort to let other people ’see’, ‘hear’ or ‘know’ about your product or enterprise. Your presence being felt in the form of your enterprise is key to success in the online business.

So you see PPA is vital to spread your business around and for people to know about your enterprise. Again, Campaigns can be pointless if you do not have a plan. In PPA this often means keeping your own offline note-pad or excel sheet to keep track of your progress and success. You have to keep at this even with some of the good monitors that are built-in and freely available. But there is always a paid option which is not heavily advised in this guide. There are many that do what is being done here at a price. Their main business it to affiliate you with their guide for a price. The business is usually pitched as an e-book, e-report or online subscription to a step-by-step guide:

1. Online Business Alliance (A good product with e-book and guide for $5)
2. One Step 4 Income (Monthly subscription guide to earning online)
3. BBP Marketing (Another monthly subscription with software)

And again the list goes on and on (Blogging to the Bank, How to make money with…, etc. etc.) but there is one free guide that gives simple steps to earning with Adsense which is one of the more popular ideas to online enterprise. It is given freely in an article in the latest Leads Leap Blog.

Finally, to outline again how simple it is here is the 3 step truth about developing and succeed at an Online Enterprise:

1. Plan and device a simple idea that is you at heart and you can see yourself doing and love doing.
2. Use PPA to implement
   • Your idea
   • Gain start-up capital
   • Campaigns (i.e. advertising and promotion)
   • Affiliate Marketing (build your contacts network or referral base)
3. Be Faithful in your business to use your creativity to always keep your enterprise fresh, your network well-informed of changes and your appetite to succeed up, by repeating your campaigns appropriately and earn money. You can use your own judgment to invest in other areas such as Advertising, Software and Aesthetics to enhance your business appearance, viability and continuity.

Once you keep at it you will eventually earn money online. That is one of the main reasons this guide is not “Make Money Online” but to earn money requires a slow steady process and not the get-rich schemes we can so easily swallow sometimes. As just stated you can invest in your own judgment in programs that will enhance your existing plan like in Paid Advertising or software like Auto-Responders or whatever you choose. But a simple guide is not to be overwhelmed when investing in a product by the potential to make money. Your investment in a product should be only for what it can do for your enterprise. If you are just in for the money that where many programs have a product (just to be legal) but have other aspects of MLM and Money-Making Opportunities  in full focus. These include Cyclers, Matrix Programs, List Builders, Auto-Surf Programs and even some PTC.
